For many years, illustration was as much a part of Angela Werneke's professional life as design. What began as simple pictorial representations deepened into an illustrative approach meant to expand awareness. By incorporating archetypal symbols — the language of human consciousness — images came to be gateways into other worlds. Her motivation was now not so much what she would achieve as what she would be a vehicle for bringing into form. ∞ When Angela's journey with illustration ended, the sensibility she had developed as an illustrator migrated into her continuing work as a designer. At best, behind every visible representation evident in a logo or book cover is the infinite beauty and force of an unseen world that speaks to us all. ∞
